The programme will last for two (2) years full time study made up of four (4) semesters and eight (8) weeks field attachment on a commercial farm. Each year is divided into semesters I and II. A semester will last for 14 weeks including assessments. The programme content use the subject system of 40% theory and 60% practical.

APPLICATION & ADMISSION PROCEDURE
College Entry Requirements
The minimum admission requirements to the College is a full Grade 12 Certificate or its equivalent, with Credits in English, Mathematics and at least two of the following subjects; Agricultural Science, Science, Biology, Physics and Chemistry
It should further be noted that selection for entry is on a competitive basis and due to the nature of accommodation; Selection shall be based on 50% female and 50% male applicants.
How to apply
Applicants should submit their application forms addressed to “The Principal”, with copies of their academic documents (certificates). Applicants are screened to determine whether they meet the minimum entrance requirements as laid out in the General Prospectus. Those that do not meet the minimum entrance requirements are rejected. Application forms can be downloaded from the College website or can be obtained from the College Executive Officer at a non-refundable fee of K150.00. the completed application form can either be dropped physically at the College or emailed to popotacollege@gmail.com.
When to Apply
The deadline for receiving of applications for the next intake is 31st July, every year. Applicants will be informed about the outcome of their application in August every year.
