Training Resources

The College Farm will be used as the main site of practical demonstrations for all the courses. There shall be field tours to farms of specific interest to the course being conducted.

Competent members of staff of the College and some invited persons will handle both theory and practical lessons of the course and there shall be a lot of sharing of experiences with course participants.

The eventual management of the crop in the field influences the yield and the quality of the tobacco that will be harvested. Therefore, the management of the leaf in the field should be of the highest level possible so as to ensure good leaf leaving the field to the curing barns
